Privacy Policy

What we collect.Your email address (for sign-in), your questions and the AI's answers (to show you your history), your language preference, and subscription/payment status. Payment details (card/UPI) are handled entirely by Razorpay — we never see or store them.

How questions are processed. Your questions (and, for voice, a temporary audio recording) are sent to third-party AI providers to generate answers, transcribe speech, or produce spoken playback, under their own data-processing terms. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Sensitive topics. Legal questions can be personal. Avoid including names, ID numbers, or case numbers — the AI does not need them to explain the law.

Storage & security. Data is stored with Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security: only your account can read your conversations.

Retention. Conversations inactive for 12 months are automatically and permanently deleted. Subscription records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting law.

Your rights (DPDP Act, 2023). You can access, download, correct, or permanently erase your personal data at any time. Export and deletion are self-service from your account page — no email required. Consent is collected at sign-in and can be withdrawn by deleting your account.

Grievances. For data-protection complaints or questions, contact us at support@juriniva.com. We aim to respond within 7 days. (JuriNiva is currently an individually-operated project rather than a registered company; a named grievance officer will be published here once one is appointed.)

AI transparency. See How our AI works for what the AI can and cannot do and how we govern it.
